Three defendants of the "Justice Case" listen attentively in the dock at Nurnberg as the prosecution unfolds its case.  The 15 defendants, former Nazi judges and public prosecutors, are charged with "corrupting the German judicial system to suit the needs of National Socialism".  Shown (left to right) are: Paul Barnickel, senior public prosecutor of the People's Court; Hans Peterson, Judge of the special senate of the People's Court; and Guenther Nebelung, Chief Justice of the fourth senate of the People's Court.
