Letter from the Inspector for Armement in the Ukraine to General THOMAS, Chief of the Industrial Armement Department, dated 2 December 1941, describing the attitude of the Jews as anxiously obliging and trying to avoid displeasure of the German Administration. The Jews, in their majority, did not represent a danger for the German Armed forces. Nevertheless, 150,000 to 200,000 Jews were executed up to the date of the letter, including old men, women and children of all ages, in a horrible manner, by the Police.
