USA. Lament against the Just Death Sentences of Tokyo.
The British-American air barbarians in the dock,
The Bombing War against Europe proves:
The Gangsters deliberately murder and burn the Civilian Population.
vb. Berlin, 23 Apirl:
On 18 April 1942, American air pirates undertook a terror
attack on the Japanese capital of Tokyo. In this attack, which,
like all the undertakings of the Anglo-American murder-incendiaries,
was exclusively directed to the destruction of civil and cultural
objects and values, many civilians, including women and children,
were killed. By order of the Japanese Government, American pilots
who were shot down and captured during this attack were subjected
to interrogation. The most careful examination by a Japanese courtmaterial
revealed the undoubted intention to attack civil objects
and terrorize the population.
The Japanese Government, therefore, ordered the punishment
of these convicted murder-incendiaries. Against some of them,
whose murderous acts were proved, the death sentence was pronounced,
and as the U.S. American President Roosevelt now states in a declaration,
was carried out. In this statement, Roosevelt makes,
in view of the countless proved purely murderous acts of the American
gangsters, the shameless assertion that the American flyers had orders
to direct their attacks only against military targets and it was
known that they had not diverged from those instructions. Without
wasting a word on the barbaric methods of the Anglo-American conduct
of the air war, Roosevelt declared this action of the Japanese authorities
to be an act of barbarism".
